Dream to Teach

Dream 2 Teach is available to all students at Brody in grades 6-8.

Vision: Dream to Teach exists to serve as a catalyst for the development of future educators who are representative of the Des Moines Public Schools student population.

Mission: Our mission is to support students from diverse cultural backgrounds who desire to become Des Moines Public School educators.

The program will focus on relationship and leadership skills.  Social and communication skills with an emphasis on public speaking are key elements of the program as well as learning about what the process is to become a teacher and the aspects of being a teacher.

This group meets monthly on Sept 27, Oct 25, Nov 29, and Dec 20 from 3:45-5:00.  If you have questions about the program, please contact Mx. Raibikis.
