More than 150 middle school students were honored on-stage at North High School for outstanding achievement in a variety of categories. Each DMPS Middle School was represented at the 1st Annual Stellar Awards and each student took home a standing plaque and a book, highlighting the quality recognized that evening. The first annual Des Moines 21st Century Community Learning Centers Makers Convention featured nearly 300 students from 9 schools, including Brody.
