Jarillo-Montero & Chumbley Chosen to Represent Brody
Congratulations to Cohen Chumbley and America Jarillo-Montero, 8th grade students at Brody Middle School. They were chosen by their teachers to represent Brody at the Des Moines Metro Area Optimists Annual Youth Appreciation Luncheon on Nov. 14, 2017.
Chad and Marie Chumbley are parents of Cohen and Humberto Jarillo-Hernandez and Ester Montero-Castillo are parents of America. Cohen and America, along with many other middle and high school students around the Des Moines Metro area, will be recognized for being positive leaders in our schools and in our community.
The students will be recognized at a luncheon and will get to hear inspiring words from the keynote speaker, Dr. Earl Martin, President of Drake University. We appreciate the Optimist Club and Bankers Trust for allowing us the annual opportunity to recognize exceptional students.
