Brody Blanket Service Project
Over 40 fleece “cut-and-tie” blankets were assembled by Brody Middle School students during their Challenge classes and donated to the Child Life Pediatric Oncology Center at Blank Children’s Hospital as part of the school’s service learning. The project started in February as part of the school’s “Through This Together” cancer awareness celebration in which staff and students also donated hair to “Locks of Love” with the assistance from and courtesy of the LaJames College. The $1000 in funds for the project was donated by WalMart.
