IB Performing Arts Workshop

Music teachers Dr. Ancona and Mr. Hewitt attended an all-day Middle Years Program (MYP) workshop in performing arts at Meredith Middle School on Monday, Sept.14. Dr. Matt Gonzales, Diploma Program and MYP coordinator at Dwight School in New York City and IB music program examiner, led a team of 12 Des Moines Public Schools MYP performing arts teachers through a day of conceptual understanding of the MYP performing arts program through lesson and unit planning, and assessment, and rubric creation.
