Writer’s Workshop!

Brody Accelerated 7th Reading/Language Arts students finished their variously themed chapter books for their Writer’s Workshop unit. Students were encouraged to choose a theme in creating their chapter books, narrate to their hearts’ content (elaborating on specific sensory details) and compile their chapters in a neatly organized spiral-bound book. Student sharing of these narratives, in Writer’s Workshop fashion, provided plenty of intriguing fare for their peers. Donut day found its way into the mix as incentive for the creative process.
