The road to the White House continues to wind its way through Des Moines, as students at Brody Middle School took part in the Iowa Secretary of State’s Youth Straw Poll in advanced of the state’s presidential caucuses. Brody’s Structured Learning Center (SLC) is opening a coffee shop, “Brody Brew,” once a week starting on January 26th. The shop will be operated by the students of room 145, and services will be offered to the staff. Money raised will go to the SLC program.
